Description
Millerods rod sleeves are custom made for us, constructed from woven polyethylene that won’t rot, is mildew resistant and most importantly, is breathable (storing rods in thick covers made from neoprene and other non-breathing materials can encourage corrosion and are too heavy for light action rods). These are the same sleeves provided with our production rods.
Our sleeves are woven to our specified diameters and densities, both of which vary for spin or casting rod sleeves. This provides the best blank protection and resists guide snagging while not over-loading light action rods (small guides will poke through low density woven sleeves, which can lead to damage and difficulties in removing the sleeve).
The tip end is secured with shrink wrap rubber to allow easy use in rod locker tubes, and the open end is rolled over for easy push-on fitting over the rod guides. With your rods in these sleeves they can be safely strapped together to put in the back of the car for travelling. All sleeves are made in our custom Millerods Camoufish colour and screen-printed with the Millerods logo.

Spinning sleeve 190cm – suits up to guide size #25 and rod lengths of 7’3” to 8’0”
Casting rod sleeve 150cm – suits up to guide size #16 and rod lengths of 5’8” to 6’3”
Casting rod sleeve 175cm – suits up to guide size #16 and rod lengths of 6’3” to 7’3”
