MANSFIELD HUNTING & FISHING × T. FERDINAND LEATHER CO.
Two local names. One shared passion for the outdoors.

We’re proud to announce a new collaboration between Mansfield Hunting & Fishing and T. Ferdinand Leather Co., bringing together quality outdoor gear and traditionally crafted leatherwork.

Built for the bush, made to last. From the field to the campfire, this collaboration is about rugged craftsmanship, functionality and timeless Australian style  combining Mansfield Hunting & Fishing’s passion for the outdoors with the handcrafted quality of T. Ferdinand Leather Co.

Built tough. Crafted by hand. Made for the outdoors.

Named for Australia's wild horses. Built to run with you.

The Brumby is T. Ferdinand's signature piece — and the one that says everything about what this brand stands for.

Cut from premium Australian leather and built with hardware that doesn't quit, the Brumby is designed to age into something that looks like yours and no one else's. The kind of bag that develops character the longer it's with you — softening in the right places, wearing in all the right ways.

This isn't a fashion bag. It's a working bag. It goes with you everywhere and gets better for it.

Made in our Healesville workshop. Every stitch placed with purpose.

What you're getting:

  • Premium Australian leather — selected for durability and how it wears over time
  • Solid hardware throughout — no plastic, no compromise
  • Strong stitching designed to hold through years of daily use
  • A design that strips away everything that isn't necessary
  • Handmade in Healesville, Yarra Valley, Victoria

How it wears:

New, the Brumby is structured and firm. Over time, the leather softens and shapes to your use. Scuffs and patina are not flaws — they're proof of a life being lived. In five years, your Brumby will look completely different to the day it arrived. Better different.

Care:

Condition with a quality leather conditioner every few months. Keep away from extended moisture. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally away from heat. The leather will thank you.
